Course overview
Our foundation programme takes you from no experience to a confident, safety-conscious drone operator. You start in ground school learning how airspace works, the rules for flying drones in Nigeria and how weather affects flight. You then build your stick skills in the simulator before flying real training drones under the supervision of an instructor.
Entry requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- Basic literacy and numeracy
- A valid means of identification
What you will learn
- Explain airspace classes, restricted zones and drone regulations in Nigeria
- Carry out pre-flight inspections, risk assessments and flight planning
- Fly confidently in manual and assisted flight modes
- Handle common emergencies such as signal loss and low battery
- Capture stable aerial photos and video

Assessment
You need 70% overall to pass.
Certification
Students who pass receive a training certificate with a unique number that anyone can verify online.
